Terms of Service

Version 1.0.0 · effective 6/15/2026

Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the Brunel Strategic Resourcing Group Ltd ("BSR Group", "we", "us") platform at bsr.group and any associated subdomains (the "Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform you agree to these Terms together with our Privacy Notice, Cookie Policy and Acceptable Use Policy.

If you are agreeing on behalf of an organisation you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation.

1. The Platform

The Platform is a multi-sided service supporting four user types:

  • Candidates — individuals seeking permanent, contract or interim work in nuclear, energy, infrastructure, legal and adjacent sectors.
  • Companies — corporate clients hiring through BSR Group, including hiring managers and authorised users acting on the client's account.
  • Recruiters — external recruitment agencies and freelance recruiters partnered with BSR.
  • Administrators — BSR Group internal staff operating the Platform.

The Platform provides recruitment workflow tooling, candidate management, project and resource planning, document storage, finance and billing, compliance and audit features, and AI-assisted features. Specific feature availability depends on your role and any commercial agreement in place.

2. Account registration

To create an account you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
  • Choose a strong password and (for staff and admin accounts) enable multi-factor authentication when prompted.
  • Not share your credentials with anyone else.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at security@bsr.group if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Role-specific terms

3.1 Candidates

  • You confirm that information you provide (CV, employment history, qualifications, clearances, references) is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge. Misrepresentation may result in withdrawal from processes and account suspension.
  • You consent to BSR sharing your profile with relevant clients only after you have approved each submission. You can revoke consent for an in-flight submission at any time before interview.
  • You retain ownership of your CV and personal data. You can export everything we hold from Account → Privacy → Export my data.
  • BSR does not guarantee placement in any role. Decisions are made by the end client.

3.2 Companies (clients)

  • The named contact registering a Company account confirms they are authorised by the Company.
  • Use of the Platform for hiring is subject to commercial terms set out in the executed engagement letter, framework agreement or order form ("Engagement Letter"). Where there is conflict between these Terms and the Engagement Letter, the Engagement Letter prevails for commercial matters.
  • Fees, milestones, guarantee periods, replacement candidates, IR35 obligations and indemnities are governed by the Engagement Letter.
  • The Company is responsible for managing the access of its own staff users on the Platform and for revoking access promptly when staff leave.
  • The Company will not download, scrape or systematically extract candidate data for use outside the Engagement.

3.3 Recruiters (external agencies and freelance)

  • Recruiter accounts are subject to the BSR Recruiter Partner Agreement ("Partner Agreement") setting out commercial split fees, exclusivity, guarantee periods and approved client lists.
  • Submissions must include valid evidence of candidate consent. BSR will reject and may remove submissions that lack consent.
  • Recruiters undertake to comply with the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003 and the off-payroll working rules (IR35).
  • Agency members may only be added by the agency's authorised owner. Each member is bound by these Terms in their personal capacity.

3.4 Administrators

Internal staff use is governed by the BSR Group internal IT acceptable use policy and confidentiality undertakings in your employment contract or contractor agreement.

4. Acceptable use

Your use of the Platform is also governed by the Acceptable Use Policy which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Material breaches of acceptable use may result in immediate suspension or termination.

5. Intellectual property

  • BSR Group owns the Platform software, design, brand, content templates, AI prompts and aggregate analytics. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Platform for the purposes set out in these Terms while your account is active.
  • You retain ownership of content you upload (CVs, job specs, project documents, notes). You grant BSR a non-exclusive licence to host, process and display that content as needed to provide the service.
  • AI-generated outputs (e.g. CV summaries, intelligence reports) are provided "as-is". You are responsible for verifying any AI output before relying on it.

6. Fees and payment

  • Candidate accounts are free at point of use.
  • Company and Recruiter accounts may be free or paid depending on the Engagement Letter or Partner Agreement.
  • Invoicing, payment terms, default interest, suspension for non-payment and dispute mechanisms are governed by the relevant commercial agreement.

7. Confidentiality

  • All non-public information accessed via the Platform — including job specs, candidate profiles, project documents, financial data and inter-party communications — is confidential.
  • You will not disclose another party's confidential information except as strictly required to perform your role on the Platform or as required by law.

8. Data protection

  • Where BSR processes personal data on a Client's behalf, we act as a data processor under our Data Processing Agreement. Where BSR is a controller (e.g. for the Platform itself), the Privacy Notice applies.
  • Both parties will comply with the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and all other applicable data protection law.

9. Service availability and changes

We aim for high availability but the Platform is provided "as available". We may add, modify or remove features and we will give reasonable notice of material changes. Planned maintenance windows are communicated via in-app notifications.

10. Suspension and termination

  • You may close your account at any time. Closing your account does not delete every record — see the Privacy Notice for retention rules.
  • We may suspend or terminate access without notice for material breach of these Terms, of the Engagement Letter or Partner Agreement, or where required by law.
  • On termination, the Confidentiality, IP, Data Protection and Liability clauses survive.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of business or loss of data.
  • Our total liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms in any 12-month period is capped at the greater of (a) the fees paid by you to us in that period and (b) £10,000.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Indemnities

You will indemnify BSR Group against losses, claims and costs arising from (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your breach of intellectual property or confidentiality rights, (c) misrepresentation in candidate, job or company data, and (d) your use of the Platform unlawfully.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms by publishing a new version through the admin policy editor. Material changes will require all logged-in users to re-accept on next sign-in. If you do not accept the new version your account access will be paused until you do.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction except that we may bring proceedings in any jurisdiction to protect our intellectual property.
